We curate a very special collection of fine handcrafted incense that serves as a support for emotional and physical healing, as well as for purifying spaces, all in alignment with the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, under the guidance of tea Master Liu. These incense are crafted without any chemicals or artificial aromas, using only natural, premium-quality ingredients to support individuals, alongside tea medicine.

PHILOSOPHY 

拂尘 FUCHEN is a poetic name inspired by Chan/Zen Buddhist philosophy, meaning "to remove the dust." In a broader sense, it signifies the embrace of purity and inner peace.

COMPOSITION

This incense is handcrafted by Weirong, a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and disciple of Master Liu.

The recipe for FUCHEN is complex and mysterious, containing over 30 rare medicinal plants sourced from Southeast Asia and the Middle East, including frankincense, myrrh, saffron, amber, cypress, agarwood, and sandalwood. The creator of this secret formula is a highly respected Taiwanese senior monk, the Master of our tea master Liu Laoshi.

USE

True to its Chan name, FUCHEN is designed to cleanse the space of negative energy and cultivate a meditative, contemplative atmosphere. With its characteristic dark orange hue, the incense carries many energies that align with the heart chakra, making it particularly suited for meditation, calming the mind, and soothing the body.

When burning this incense in a space, observe the movement of the smoke. If it lingers and forms a cloud or fog, it indicates that the space is charged with negative energy, and the incense is in the process of purifying it. Once the space is cleansed, the smoke should rise straight, flowing toward the sky.

When you catch a cold and struggle to expel cold-dampness from your body, our master recommends using 5 grams of FUCHEN. Boil it in a small pot, then pour the infused water into a warm bathtub. Immerse yourself in the bath and relax — within 10 minutes, you’ll begin to feel warmth spreading through your body, and your cold symptoms will ease.
