PHILOSOPHY

拂尘 FUCHEN is a poetical name reflecting the Chan/Zen Buddhist philosophy, it literally means "to remove the dust". By extension, it means to embrace purity and inner peace.

COMPOSITION

This incense is handcrafted by Weirong, a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner in Beijing. The ingredients of the recipe of 拂尘 FUCHEN INCENSE are complex and mysterious. It contains more than 30 precious medicinal plants from Southeast Asia and the Middle East, including frankincense, myrrh, saffron, amber, cypress, agarwood and sandalwood. The designer of this mysterious recipe is a Taiwanese senior monk who is highly respected in China. 

USE

As its Chan/Zen name implies, 拂尘 FUCHEN INCENSE intends to clean space from negative energy and create a meditative and contemplative atmosphere. With its characteristic dark orange color due to the presence of many heart chakra-dominant energies in its composition, this incense is especially suitable for meditation and quieting the mind, relaxing and delighting the body. 

When you have a cold and have difficulty expelling the cold dampness from your body, our master recommends taking 5 grams of 拂尘 FUCHEN INCENSE and put it into a vessel to boil it. Then dilute the boiled incense into the warm water in the bathtub. You can start to enjoy the warm bath. In less than 10 minutes, you will feel warm and cold symptoms will be relieved.
